Q; WHY DO YOU BLOG?
A: Because I'm a rambler and slightly narcissistic. LOL. That's really it, though. It takes a sliiiiight bit of narcissim to sit here and write about your day and your life and your travels and have your photos taken in all your cute outfits, lets be honest people. On the other hand though, I think I've dealt with a lot of different things in my life with being sick, moving around all the time, having anxiety, being totally and competely lost with myself, that I thought blogging would give me a way to share with others who may be dealing with similar experiences, and it would give me some sort of creative outlet and somewhere for me to connect with other likeminded people.
Q; WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
A: Middle of nowhere, North Carolina, USA. Our closest city is Raleigh, so that's where I say I live, but I'm lying.
Q; DO YOU EVER DO PAID BLOG POSTS?
A: Yeah, totally!!! If I like the product, that is. I like showing you guys new things!
Q; HOW DID YOU GET STARTED BLOGGING?
A: I just did it. I did my research. I tried to figure out what blogging site I liked the best, and I tried out many. There are tons, so it's good to use their free trial periods to learn them! When I first started, I decided on Squarespace. It was super user friendly, and I used my 14-day trial, and extended it. And extended it. As many times as I could. Just creating base content, organizing it, designing it how I wanted it. The name of my blog did eventually change, and so has the layout (many many times.) I'm sure I've made a ton of "blogger mistakes" and I probably still do, but I genuinely enjoy blogging. It's not a chore, or a job to me. I did recently change over to WordPress, which I am loving so far! It's a lot more difficult for me to understand and use, but totally worth it.
Q; ARE YOU A FULL TIME BLOGGER?
A: Based on hours put into Wildlight&Lush, yes. Based on income, Lol no. I actually have a job managing my future MIL's Speech Therapy practice. It's a sweet gig and she introduced me something that I found I actually really love.
Q; WHAT'S NEXT?
A: I have no idea - jut rollin' with it homie, just rollin' with it.
