WendyKate from Katie Callahan & Co. contacted me about visiting the sip & shop she was putting on with the other vendors in the Carter building (as well as some others!) last week and I was so excited to check it out!

Kyle and I went that evening to see what it was all about and we had a lot of fun! There were several local vendors inside that were showing and conversing with people and a few outside as well, including the Cousins Maine Lobster Truck, Pitch & Primer, and the Lil Photo Bus

They did a fabulous job including men in this event, which was great. Not only are they reaching a wider audience by having a menswear airstream pop-up shop (Pitch & Primer) an open bar serving up beer, wine, and specialty drinks, and even a “dude lounge”- but they gave us (and many others) a great date night experience that both parties could enjoy and get involved in!

Some of the other vendors inside The Carter Building include: Zass Designs (upcycled accessories that are.. honestly so impressive!), Front Row Cosmetics, Raleigh Vintage, Colors of Yoga, and a really badass record shop, Sound Off Records & Hi-Fi. (And then BOGO cupcakes at The Cupcake Shoppe down the street- of course.)

We had a lot of fun meeting the vendors, taking funny photos in the photo bus, eating lobster tacos, drinking, and shopping around- and I can’t wait to go again in December!! They are going to try and do these events on a quarterly basis and the next one is scheduled for December 15th, so mark your calendars!

Xo, k
