Transitioning to Fall with Maxis (Ft. KOHEESIV)

Maxis are so easy to throw on which makes them one of my favorite things to wear- weather permitting. A lot of people think they’re meant for the warmer months, but they’re perfect for the end of summer, and well into fall.

The first dress is from Belk (And it was a clearance find! Get it HERE) The second was also a clearance find from Rue21 (get it HERE) and the third dress was a gift from my friends at Koheesiv! You can see my first collab with them here – and I’m so excited to be working with them again.

Koheesiv just launched their fall line last week and I’m in LOVE with all their pieces! These girls have serious style. This jacket was one of the new pieces as well, and I am LOVING the embroidery. It’s pretty low key on this jacket so you can wear it with anything which is awesome – but it gives it such a girly feel and I love that in something that’s typically more grungy and on the rougher side of the style spectrum. Check out their other third pieces because they have some CUTE dusters and jackets. (I’m currently obsessed with this one, the blush moto jacket, and the off white duster – which is on sale!)

I can’t link you to this dress YET because they’re putting it on their website on the 25th, but you can see the rest of their dresses online and don’t forget to check back next week for this one! My other favorite is the burnt orange flutter sleeve maxi. Some of their dresses are on sale right now, too, so definitely go check it out. I love this mustard color for fall – it’s definitely a favorite of mine! And this dress is perfect for transition weather because the sleeves are short and it’s easy to put something over it if it’s a chilly day, but the ankle length and slit make it cooling if it happens to be warmer. I love love love the button detail and I can’t wait to put boots on with this when it gets a bit chillier!

EDIT**** (here’s the link to this dress! Officially on sale HERE!)

I hope we’re all taking advantage of the end-of-summer sales and don’t forget to check out Koheesiv online and TREAT YO’SELF. 😉

As always, happy shopping friends!

xo, k

You will curate your own dreams, your own beliefs, your own stunning clarity, and when you meet the person that makes your cells dance, you will be sure of it, because you will be sure of yourself.”

  • Today I’m grateful for the things about me that I always considered to be my “bad” qualities.
I think “bad” qualities are something we all possess, but I also think they’re useful in the sense that they do a job to weed the people out of our lives that aren’t beneficial to our end game- whatever that may be.
So I’m listing my “bad” qualities this morning and I’m going to repurpose them. What good have they brought me?
Some of the good I’ve come up with include: clarity, new surroundings, a chance to do what i need for myself, a new appreciation for life, love for myself that I didn’t realize I had, and so many more.
If you’re feeling especially down about yourself, I challenge you to make a list of the things you don’t love and repurpose them. Think about what kind of good came out of your bad qualities and embrace that.
I fully believe we are who we are for a reason and we should probably stop trying to be what we think people want us to be, and we should just.. be. Good, bad, and everything in between. You’ll be surprised who and what you attract.
